Hi, I'm pretty new to this board. I've been reading everything I can about udders and conformation in general, hoping to learn enough to be able to evaluate my own cows with "udder" candor! In order to respect the rules for posting photos, I did a post on my blog with lots of photos of the udder of the cow I'm milking. I'm not saying her name or her breeding because I don't want to prejudice your opinions. Would those of you who know about udders please be willing to look at my photos, read my comments and questions, and then give me YOUR honest opinions, please? We bought our first cow, I chose an AI sire, and this is the cow I got. I love her dearly because she's the first one I bred--and she's very sweet!--but I'm trying to begin the process of honestly critiquing my own animals. Here's the post.If you want to post your comments directly on the blog, you can. If you post them here, I'll update the blog with them (anonymously) so other readers can learn, too. I've read comments from other newbies who want to learn this kind of thing, so I thought I'd start the ball rolling! Thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom!
