We were having some dinner when a knock came on the door..the neighbor. Seems Selby found one of his Angus cows rather attractive! Neighbor got Selby in the corral and came to inform us. Hooked up the trailer (too dark to walk the hill)--back up to the corral. Neighbor and hubby start to try to run Selby through to load out of chute.Selby doesn't understand herding--he knows leading. I told them to stop, looked around got baling twine that would barely fit around his neck and led him through the dark to the trailer. Our neighbor was amazed--couldn't believe I could catch and lead a bull with baling twine around his neck! Loved it!!AND, yes, I should have remembered a halter!

That really is an ‘awwwww’ story.
I think that is why I have such as soft spot for our boys – they haven’t read the books on Bull personality *S*. Bucking the trend makes them oh so more appealing

That's a great story! Thanks for sharing it. Be careful, your neighbor may let Selby back onto his property to breed his cow(s?) now that he's seen how nice he is. LOL
