Our first calf...born 2 days ago to a first calf heifer. All are doing well...3 more to go for us this year!

What a pretty little thing. She reminds me of a young fawn the way she's standing there. Congratulations and may you get 3 more just like her for Christmas!!!

Thanks for the nice comments! She is pretty small...I have not weighed her yet...but I am thinking around 35lbs. She was not due till the end of December...so a little early...and what a nice early Christmas present. Question...she is out of a horned sire and horned dam...but I can not see or feel any sign of budding horns. I was under the impression Dexter calves showed horns at birth...am I incorrect, and when do you usually see a Dexter calf present horns?
