We dehorned our newest little girl today. I thought this picture was cute. All the other cows were wondering what the heck we had done to little Miss Maeve...

Susan, I use to work for a small animal vet and sometimes the dogs or cats would have to wear the white cone to keep them from licking at a surgery site. We always called it the cone of shame, the poor animals would sulk around with this thing that looked like a lamp shade on their head.
That is what Maeve looked like yesterday. We took if off after six hours and dehorn sites look great. And she is much happier to have it of.
