OK, I had to have a go at taking a Felfy. It is SOOOO hard to concentrate on taking the photo AND remembering to smile LOL. You guys seem to do it so effortlessly, it took me ages to get it together. This is me and my fave bull Justin
BTW, just for interest, this bull Justin is sired by Woodmagic Hedgehog III, he has the calmest and non-reactive temperament ever.
The lighting was awful, early morning with a bright sun.
"just a note to new people to Dexters, cattle and especially bulls, please don't try this with your bull unless you are fully confidant that he is fully trained and won't react. I did this fully aware of every breath he was taking, and he is an especially calm and non-reactive bull who has had 9 years of training."

Good warning, Louise, glad you put it in there, but I love the felfies--knowing you were safe and sure of what you were doing!

Susan, awesome thread. I love the felfies. I am constitutionally incapable of taking a non-terrifying selfie--I need one of the kids to give me a tutorial--but here's my Lily (age 9) and Violet.

Thanks for sharing that with the rest of the group here! It is a great example to those who may have stumbled onto this site of how the Dexter breed is an ideal choice for such a wide range of purposes, and especially ages. That is a "felfie" fit for a frame on your wall! It's too late for the AGM photo contest this year, but I hope you'll enter it next year!

One of my favorite things to do is take a selfie with my bull Yogi! I'm glad other people like to do the same. Yogi is now a large 3 year old and he is still my baby. Some of you on here have seen my big guy at the AGM in Fort Wayne and the MO Show last year. I need to take a picture yet this summer, but here are pictures of him as a yearling and a 2 year old. Beautiful photos Emily and Diana (now you DO have to put your own Felfie on her Diana LOL, that's a must) It shows how great these cattle are. Emily you have a great relationship with your bull too.

Oh dear, Collette looks like she is trying to eat your hair LOL. How did you ever manage to manipulate the camera/phone to get a photo from that angle, smile and get it all together? I struggle just to hang onto the phone haha.
