Okay so I have a question.... One of my cows is super fat. roly poly around her tail fat. so fat she has trouble getting pregnant. I call her fatty mcbutterpants when she's being naughty, hehe. anyway She's on green rich pasture, and can eat as much as she wants. All my cows are, but she's the one that's roly. But even when we've put her on a 'diet' in the small pen with rationed hay, she still doesn't lose. the vet says it's hard to get a cow to lose weight by 'dieting' because their metabolism is changed. he shrugged and didn't have any ideas. She's in milk, so I have to keep that in mind when changing her diet.... anyone have ideas?

My farrier would say get more cattle, more cattle less grass for her. Lol I had a heavy cow once too, it's not easy to get them to lose weight.
