Running of the bulls! Oh and steers too...

Finally had enough, time, warmth, and pasture space to put the bulls and steers outside! This is their first time out since December. Needless to say they were excited. Then they quickly had to determine who was boss, at least between High Pines Rex and the dark red Shamrock Zephyr. They are out in a back pasture with a yearling bull and 3 young steers.

Freedom at last.
I just can't imagine what it must be like keeping animals shedded in winter. All I can think of is mucking out those sheds ICK!.
I remember well the smell when visiting England and cleaning out the sheds after winter, and 3 foot deep muck. Not nice.

At least it is now Spring for you colder climes, the cattle must love it

They ran around and fought each other until they were sore and tired. There aren't too many green bits out in that pasture yet
