Even when they are just little calves. When I was taking photos of the cows at the weekend I caught this little twerp who had found a small patch of dirt and made a big patch of dirt. He had great fun playing at being a bull. He's about 8 weeks old now.

You could turn him out on your excess clover--looks like he'd take care of it real quick!

The little monster, we try so hard not to have any bare dirt anywhere, it makes it too easy for weeds to germinate, and he managed it in 2 seconds flat. He's a funny calf, has so much personality, if ever there is one up to mischief it will be him. He is still a bull, we haven't castrated him yet, but who knows for how long. I'm not so sure I would like a full grown bull that will get into that much trouble and mischief.

We always end up with holes in our lanes from bulls digging.... They are separated right now and they are not happy about it! I took a video of a couple of them yesterday, check this out. youtu.be/hiYR7dkRySE

My bull had a favorite spot. We have very sandy soil and soon enough he had a hole as long as him and almost 3 feet deep. His daily visits to throw dirt were stopped abruptly when two geese built nests in it and began laying... Even a bull is no match for broody geese!
