What an amazing guy, disability is truly only in the minds of the person and those around him. If they think that they don't have a disability, then they surely don't. I wonder if he was a thalidomide kid? They don't mention how he had no legs or arms.
I had the privilege of spending a full week at the Paralympics when they were in Sydney in 2000. What an inspirational week. To see people with what others would consider a severe disability compete with such commitment was eye opening. In the swimming their was one guy with even less arms and legs than what Chris had, to see him swim with only a torso bobbing in the water, and to complete the race, it brought the whole stadium down with cheering. He finished way behind everyone else but he "WON" the race.
These people make everyone else look a bit pathetic with our "can't do" attitude don't they?
