This is a screen shot of the color test options when you want to add a test to an existing sample on file. Is it me or could the wording be a tad better to help folks understand what tests they are ordering or trying to order. Can someone tell me which test is for red and which test is for dun? I understand the color probabilities, but the test names below are confusing to me. Is there someone with the ADCA that acts like a UCDavis liaison that could request a change of the naming to something easy like "Red" and "Dexter Dun"? Thanks all, Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
Yes, this is a bit confusing……believe it or not, you do NOT want to choose the "add coat color request" tab. Rather, you need to choose the "add Dexter/polled" test. Under that tab you will find the "MC1R (extension)", which is red and the the "dun" tab for dun. Hope this is helpful. :-)

AWESOME! Thanks Eileen! Now....perhaps a change of wording of the Dexter/Polled Test is in order. That title leaves me to believe that I would find the polled test there not ALL the Dexter tests. Thanks again for bringing me back into the light.

Yes, it always surprises me when I get my test results back and it says "Polled" and then other things are on there with it!
