I take lots of photos on Calf Watch because they help me visually record the progression of various signs that calving is near. After Ebby calved I was busy milking twice a day until recently. I finally had time to finish going through all the photos and condense them down to a pictorial of this year's Calf Watch. Udder development, springing and pins, especially, are often more "discreet" in Dexters than they are in dairy breeds, so I find that many of the photos available on the internet aren't that helpful for us Dexter breeders. Hopefully these photos will "ring a bell" for someone wondering if their cow is close to calving.

The link is wrong, goes to dna testing. But I found the calf watch post and then the follow-up about Celebration's birth. Great job on the blog!

Thanks for pointing out the mistake, Olga. I fixed it. And thank you about the blog.

The DNA testing link was informative too. Both blogs are a great resource. Thanks Susan.
