hello all, this is poorna pragna from mumbai, india. a dairy farmer by birth, we own a dozen cows and around 16 buffaloes, looking to learn more about dairy farming... of course the dairy farming methods in western country'sare more perfect than Indian ones, hope to turn my dairy farm as a model one.

Welcome, deepthoughts663. How interesting that you have buffaloes, something very unusual for those of us here in the States, although I can't speak for other places. I think the best mozzarella cheese comes from buffaloes, doesn't it? I'm not sure anyone on this forum has what would actually be called a "dairy," although some of us milk. Perhaps some of the members in the UK, like stephanie? There have been Dexter dairies, but I think (at least in the US) we tend to use our Dexters as family milk cows and homestead cows. I hope you'll be able to turn your dairy farm into the model one you hope to.
