They sure look nice and shiny, Olga! I had to laugh at those big mouthfuls of hay in the first photo.

Just a question. Is Claire a Dexter. She has a nice udder. My cow urchin, who will freshen in may with her 5th calf has a small udder. She is my first dexter ,first i have milked. She does not give much with 1xday share milking. Do you milk her? Hoping to get more milk with others that will freshen also May. But first times. Cows are goid looking thanks for pics.

Claire is a registered Dexter, blueboy2. She has been milked by her previous owner and I have milked her for a short while last year.

A quick update. Good news on Portia's PHA results, negative! All 3 girls have been genotyped and ADCA registrations were submitted today. Now all of their dam's are also genotyped, so all are parentage verified. And those dams that needed it were tested for chondro/PHA to allow for obligate status of their offspring. IA Java Monsoon has been recently registered, he's PHA/chondro negative, A2/A2. A new local breeder has spoken for him and the 2 of the unrelated heifers, Cassi and Portia, once they have been weaned later this summer. Juni is as gorgeous as ever and will be available for sale May-ish.
