Just a heads up to any Australians on here who use the DCAI database. When on the database researching animals and owners etc, after a certain time allotment, don't be concerned if you get an error message, and you get kicked off, I have been told that this is just built in security measures so that a person can only use the database for a certain time period. My US friends tell me that ADCA is also going with the same provider as our DCAI, (that is ABRI), so no doubt when you guys move over it will be the same for you to.

Thanks for letting us know, carragheendexters, that's probably a good security precaution.

Yes Susan, I think that it is too. I know that it doesn't apply to you guys as yet, but when you go over to ABRI it probably will apply to ADCA as well. Stops mass copying of data from the database.
