Calving 2016 at Hope Refuge Farm

Just thought I'd share some photos of the calves we have on the ground so far this year.  This is it for the spring, but I have a few more girls due later this summer/early fall.

First up, the 3 steers.  Sir Loin, being cute.



Kobe (black) and PeeWee (red), just up from a nap.



Then the two lovely girls.  Serendipity first.



And Ruby



I'm quite happy with them, they're a nice looking bunch.

Sorry I missed this until now, hoperefuge, I didn't scroll down far enough on the forum. They are a lovely bunch! Is PeeWee Tiggy's calf? Serendipity has really nice length and a very feminine look, and Ruby is such a sturdy little girl. Do you have a nickname for Serendipity?

Thanks, Susan!  Yes, PeeWee is Tiggy's boy.  And Sir Loin is out of legendrockranch's Luna.

I end up calling Serendipity "Zippity" or "Zippy"....much easier.   I'm very happy with both heifers, they're both really well put-together.
