Hello all! Just found this site, and love it! Lots of info. Wife and I just moved onto an old horse farm with 26acres. We have been researching cattle and found we are most interested in the Dexters, having small kids, I think they fit the bill in a lot of ways. So plans are, to update fencing, make repairs, work on pastures and hopefully sometime late spring early summer 2017, welcome a few Dexters to the farm. Would love to find someone close that we could visit and talk Dexter. Is anyone close to the Hartsville/Darlington/Florence SC area?

Hey Kim. Thanks. What part of KY? We actually just moved from Catlettsburg just across river from Huntington. We still visit the area and if your along the way maybe we could swing by and say hi!

Hello & welcome!! Our farm is located in Woodruff, SC -- just 3.5 miles from I-26. Oakland Cattle Co. is located around Charleston, Cindy Coombs is around Columbia, David Marik is in Cowpens, Susan Allen is in Landrum, and there are several others in SC that I can't think of right this minute. Thanks Fran. Didn't realize there were so many around. It's awesome! We are very excited and optimistically nervous about getting started. Really glad we found this site with so many experienced people and so much information.
