Hi Tony, I think so. Stan specialized in dwarfs. I'll bet Nancy would know. C.

Genetic Enterprises NZ offers AI straws for sale for Praise Him Elijah, ADCA No. 7596: www.geneticenterprises.co.nz/orders/beef-sires/praise-him-elijah/Yes, he was a Chondro-carrier, since he has an ADCA registered offspring, WI Elsie, ADCA No. 039075, that is a tested Chondro-carrier, and her dam is an obligate Chondro Non-carrier. WI Elsie is registered as being Sire and Dam Qualified.

Many thanks for replies. Yes, I had noted WI Elsie as a carrier and both dam parents clear, I guess I had hoped there had been a test done for him. The situation has recently arisen in NZ where a bull tested as BD1 carrier and PH Elijah a couple of generations back was the most likely source. And yes we are aware of Genetic Enterprises still having his semen. We probably need to suggest that they test a straw to confirm here.

Tony, just checked the GE photo: not even a bit of question: classic dwarf. I can see having a test result gets past the lack of surety but the photo says it all. cheers, c.
