I brought Dawn home June 25th. She's 4 and has calved twice. All the seller could tell me was that they brought their bull home Sept. 29th and Dawn was in heat Oct. 11th, they never watched for heat after that. She was preg checked and confirmed Jan. 26th. Based on that information I figure she's due anywhere between July 10th and Oct. 1st. She's 3/4 Dexter, 1/4 Jersey. My only experience is with a Jersey cow and a 1/2 Dexter, 1/2 Jersey heifer calving. My assumption is pin ligaments, udder development and vulva loosening/swelling won't be as exaggerated with Dawn. For about the last week she's been developing a bag, was a lot fatter prior to now so, maybe has gone slab-sided and her vulva has gotten loose. She's been carrying her tail off to the side today but, not as much as my dairy cow did. I've also noticed a small amount of red tinged mucous the last two days. She is a lone cow. Last night she was sporadically freaking out, bucking and tearing through the field at least 3 times. I've only had her a short while but, she's a pretty calm cow. She seems to have taken a liking to a particular spot under some trees in the last couple of days but, could also just be settling in. I feel like this photo makes her look thinner than she actually is but again, she's definitely thinner. Her right PL seems to be looser than the other. Pictures: photos.app.goo.gl/L6u13YakKHXYUotP9

Did she calve? You might know by now, but I would expect a fuller udder from a 4 year old dexter just before calving.
