We live in Milford UT home of one of Circle Four Farms large pig farms. The people around here have all kinds of opinions about what the farms are doing to the Valley, one of the newest is that the gas released from the farm is causing the drought here, the methane is driving the clouds away...
Not sure how much science is behind this, but you never know what people will believe.
We also have smell pollution....I do not live in direct line of the pig smell but when it does get blown over it is gross, my friends who work there says it smells like money to them...
We also have several small dairies, and although I am one of the sickos that like the smell of cows and horses, I would bet the dairies put off there fair share of some kind of gas or another, and no one is complaining about that causing the drought....
