I got a confirmation email this morning, that UC Davis has received my samples for PHA testing. I have 4 Dexters that I am testing. All could be carriers, after looking at their pedigree's. So the wait begins. I just wonder how long until I have an answer Hoping to see NEGATIVE on my results Holly

UC Davis is very fast, I would say you'll have them Monday or Tuesday, maybe even late Friday. Good luck with your results!

The race is on Genebo ;D
I am sure you are not worried about the PHA though. That is all I am testing for at this point. If that is neg. I will spend the money for the other testing.....

even if they are PHA pos., all you need to do is make sure to use a bull that is PHA free. Don't give up hope!

You will have them quickly; our experiences with UCD have been excellent.

Not intended to hijack the thread, but apparently the ADCA is considering switching to UC Davis for their testing. After waiting one month for chondro tests from Texas A&M vs. 4 working days for some sent to Davis at the same time, you can guess what my preference is!

lakeportfarms, a month is a long time to have to wait. If that is the case I would say it makes sense for them to change labs. How frustrating.

I just ordered my tests off the UC Davis site, and sent them out myself. I am pretty anxious about these tests. I just did it the quickest way for me at the time. I think I should have them early next week...I will be doing more testing if the PHA comes back neg...

I've found the A2 tests come back about 2-3 days ahead of the PHA and other genetic tests when they're sent in at the same time.
